1. FY 2027 fees remain projections; final adoption is expected in June The committee reviewed two projected-fee versions for fiscal year 2027. The proposed Salinas Valley Basin GSA budget is approximately $4.5 million, with about 75% in Tier 1 shared costs and 25% in Tier 2 subbasin-specific costs. For the Forebay (Fund 113), Tier 2 work includes stream-channel improvements shared equally among four subbasins and a share, apportioned by crop acreage, of a $40,000 agricultural water-use efficiency item distributed across six subbasins. The Forebay projections also include $37,500 for demand-management route planning and $12,500 for SMC technical work. Those last two amounts are Forebay’s half of items shared with Upper Valley.
