1. The SVBGSA Board Is Expected to Consider a Preferred Project Portfolio in August Staff is working with the advisory committee to select a collection of projects it believes could achieve groundwater sustainability within the SGMA timeframe. An August board decision would identify projects for further work and help inform SVBGSA’s response to the Department of Water Resources (DWR) about seawater intrusion in the 180/400 Foot Aquifer Subbasin. It would not finalize project designs, costs or the agency’s long-term plan. The Steering Committee did not vote on the portfolio.
