1. Golden mussel treatment raised to kill dose The district increased copper treatment from its preventive rate of 0.09 parts per million to 0.3 parts per million during the week of the meeting. Staff said prolonged low-dose treatment since June may already have killed mussels in the system, but that remains uncertain. If no further activity appears over the next two weeks, staff will have greater confidence in that explanation. A dosing pump that remained on after a gate closed at the north-side connection was corrected. Staff also began in-house copper testing to compare with consultant results.
